I'm planning on getting some new toys for my bow this winter since I've had the bow and accessories for 7 years now and haven't changed anything. I've got a Mathews MQ1, love the bow so I'm not going to get a new one. I used to shoot some competition and am thinking about getting back into it after I graduate (heck, maybe even before.)
First order of business is a new rest, currently I've got the old prong style and am planning on going to a dropaway. I'm looking at the Trophy Ridge Drop Zone, any experiences with this rest or recommendations of others?
Next thing is a sight, I really have no clue where to start on this one. I like to practice out to 60 yards, starting at 20 with a different pin every 10 yards from there so I want at least 5 pins and the possibility of a magnification lens would be nice for the longer distances. I've looked at Trophy Ridge and Spott-Hogg and both seem to be pretty pricey for what I want. Not sure if there is anyone else out there that gives you more for your money?
As long as I'm playing I might as well change arrows, I'm shooting Beman ICS Hunter right now and they seem to change spine over time. Thinking about going to Gold Tip but not sure yet.

I'm in total agreement in the Trophy Taker, I use a Viper Predator microtune sight. I've purchased alot of products over the years based on them being close to what I wanted and they were inexpensive. These are two higher end products but wouldn't part with either. My advice is do your homework so your not selling your new stuff to a fellow shooter for $20 because it's not what you wanted. JMO.
