Well I had to work late tonight...actually later than planned....so I couldn't take my planned partner out because I could only fish for about a hour......Ended up missing a few at the boat...but still put 3 in the box.........Allucaneat was out there as was Hotwired.....was another beautiful night but slow was the word again......The Moon was absolutely gorgeous...orange as could be....wished I had a camera with me!! Had to get the voting machines all set so tomorrow I should be good to go for a good nights worth of walleye!!

From 1:30 pm to 4:00 took five jigging the 30'+ just above the Roundhouse....actually caught the first one as soon as the jig hit the bottom on the first drift

Slower for me last night too... me and bud only got 7, with one throw back. Had to quit a little earlier than planned when my battery for lights went dead because i forgot to charge it the last three or so times out. Good thing my big motor and power tilt works on a different battery, it would have been a long drive back to black river with my trolling motor. tightlinesyall

When you mentioned the black river I assumed you were on the lake at the BWB. I saw a boat leave with the running lites out. I ended up with 5 with 1 throw back. And it was slow for me also. Started at 6:30 did not get anything till 8:45. Took 6 in the next hour, but from 10:00 till 11:00 could not get the sixth one. Tried all the tried and true lures with no luck. I forgot what you call them (I call them double hookers) but they are small pencil plugs. Got all 6 fish on that one lure. The best I can explain it is a lot of different colors circling the lure.

Yes that was probably me. I am thinking on getting a switch box or something that can charge both batteries when I run the big motor. Yes last night was slow for us. Nice fish though, I don't care much for south wind. at least under the bridge was not super rough. tightlines

Im with you on that under the bridge water. I love fishing Pt. Huron, but I hate driving through that rough water under the bridge more than I hate driving anywhere. Sunday night was the best Ive ever seen it.
