Took the day off and hit the upper river/lower lake this morning. Got a late start and did not get the first lines in until 9:15 am. Started off good until the cloud cover broke and the sky turned a beautiful blue. Fish just shut off for me by 11:00.

Looking good for another attempt by the end of the week.

Thanks. I have played around with putting text onto the pictures and when Houghton-Laker mentioned the "specifics" it really got my interest. I have the same picture with more details included. That picture will probably end up on the Walleye Assoc. msg board a bit later.

Putting the details into the picture is a nice way of keeping a record and a log of success or lack of it while fishing.

Thanks Alex, I'm thinking of giving it a try on Wednesday morning. Will be coming from Blossom Heath. A good bet between the tip of Peche & the range markers out in the lake? Any info appreciated.

Oh Yea...I see my Favorite lure there....good old Orange and Gold!! If possible Alex....Sometime I would like you to teach this Oldtimer how to do the" Specifics" on pictures!!! I think that's a great way of keeping records....and a great way to post!! Good work!!! on both the fish and the editing!!;)

There seem to be fish found by the Comorant Hilton down to the "Old 8 Can". Most of the fishing seems to be up by the first range light but every now and then I see boats out by the 2nd range light.

For the most part it is jigging but the wire-liner boats are in there. If you wire line start by the red bouy and work up. The jiggers were shooting up above the Comorant Hilton and working down and shooting back up before they dropped along side of Peche.

TANSTAAFL:) :)
I might put something together and put the rough draft up on the Walleye Assoc board until I get all the details worked out. It is easy once you get the hang of it.

And, you are right, it is a great way to keep a record. It is also something that other people would find more interesting than just looking at your number written out on a piece of paper.

Alex- Thanks for all the info. I am familiar with that area, as I handlined there many times in May & June. I am still undecided as what I will go after tomorrow morning. With all the rain that fell today, I bet it has muddied up the water along the mile roads if I fish for perch.

Nice catch Alex. Good idea putting the text into the picture. Your right about looking up the old logs. You can see the fish and the lures as well as the weather conditions or what ever you want to add to it. Keep up the good work.............Bob B.

Not all lures photograph well. The ones that I have had problems with are hammered spoons, both casting and trolling.

I have put a photo up with more info from yesterday on another msg board. The resolution is wrong because I had to downsize it to much. Going to work with the site administrator to see if I can get the allowed photo size upped.
