So last year i bought a clam 2000 and the floor cracked on me so i contacted clam and they had me cut the logos out of the doors and send them in and they sent me a brand new shanty and never had me send back the other one so i now have 2 brand new ones for the price of one. so I am gonna make the holes into windows and one have any ideas, i thought of velcroing clear vinyl over it but not sure to find it locally, any ideas of what i could use or do you know if like hobby looby or micheals crafts carry the clear vinyl

$6 @ Walmart ... it's called a "shower curtain" until you put the scizzors to it.

Go to Wally World or any fabric store and buy plastic, most places sell it by the yard. There are diff thicknesses. Grab your wife's sewing machine some mono thread and have at it.
You could also probably find this at a large boat supply store ... but the earlier mentioned will probably be cheaper.

Will be more durable and permanent than a shower curtian.

Easy fix.

Home Depot has some seriously thick plastic sheet, and probably some self-adhesive Velcro if the sewing thing don't work out.

You can get thick pliable plastic sheeting from someplace that makes boat tops or someone that redoes convertible car tops . stuff is a little tough sewing thru but it will last. I picked up one of those sewing awls for this purpose. Mike

Hey,
don't knock the shower curtain until you see how thick it is!
It's a H.D. unit and is about like a shappell window.

seems a common problem with them. My Brother in Law had the same problem with the cracking. They sent him new plastic base. You made out pretty good.
I like the shower curtain idea. I may make some rear window mods to my Trap Guide now.
