After an absolutely great early season, the bite has been a bit tough as of late. We did a family trip today and the first few spots didn't produce much. Ended up in some dirty water off Mitchell's and the morning bite was decent with the afternoon going downhill. We did manage our limit but worked pretty hard for them. Here's a pic of the cooler:

Nope, not quite. when you buy 1 1/2 gallons of minnows. you better know where the fish are and have plenty of bodies on the boat. We did find enough to put a dent on them though. Listening to those Muskie guys, I might have to re-mount my planer board mast and follow those good boat around! :p I heard there was 39 lber caught today.

You need help using up those minnows John? I can think of a few of us willing to help you out. Me, Houghton Laker, Big Laker, Captain Perch, Big Bob, Ed Michrina, FishEater, and about 20 or 30 more. And I bet every one of us owns at least one hand-held GPS.;)

John-

Nice to see that those tasty perch arer still biting somewhat. I had a real tuff time getting any my last 4 times out. Tempted to launch my boat this Wednesday as I am off, but with these U.S. side results, I'm not sure now.
Bet you would give Rosanns brother Michael-a.k.a. Perch King- a run for his money. Go Muskie fishing tomorrow, thats my advice.

that is a nice ccoler of perch. I was running to the far side near Mitchells but the last two weekends have been doing good off Masonic in 15ft. Had to look for clean water Sunday but ended up cleaning 30.
