Well after going into work for a bit around 4:00pm and seeing the wind stand the Flag straight out...I decided to go home and relax and watch a little TV and maybe even a snooze.....well......after about 3-4 calls from Hotwired I couldn't take it anymore....went out to meet him because he said the wind was dying down.......LIAR..... I think He was taking revenge on me for talking him and his partner into going out a few weeks back and the winds picked up and we couldn't fish!!! But I have to say......Thanks!;) I ended up with a limit in a hour 7:30- 8:30pm.....then the winds just got too bad!!! Biggest fish on the digital scale was just over 5 lbs.....2@ 3lbs. and 3 at around 18 inches..........all fish came on 2 lures.......3 fish on each.....#7 Orange ad Gold Rapala....and a #11 custom painted Rainbow trout
I just missed Ed Michrina....hope you did well Ed.....and Allucaneat made it out but the winds were tearing him up with the bigger boat.....I had the mustang suit on...makes me feel a little safer out there with that on!

Great job Kev,
Partner and I picked up 8 before the waves were too much.
Will be back out tomorrow evening weather permitting.

I just want to know where they are at in the upper DR. Saturday afternoon I saw some guys jigging along the Peche Isle bank but that water was really muddy. And a couple of guys did a pass or two up by the Windmill Pte. light but never did see a fish come into a boat.

I know one oldtimmer that's been doing pretty good at the Round house Alex......but even there it has been hit or miss....one day he had 5.....the next -0-.......I also heard the night bite at the Ambassador bridge is non-stop!!

Interesting night. 1/2 hr in the chop and wind had me heading for the old familiar tranquil river. Ended up 4 out of 7 nice eyes fishing along the stretch of belle isle. Hotwired, Thanks for the Rapalla you air mailed me;) That silly looking lure took all that fish.

Rough ride last night from 10 mile but after turning a 15 minute ride into 40 minutes we finally made it over there. Buddy and I only got six but lost five. For whatever reason they kept popping off last night. Thanks to Hot Wired for letting me know what he got his first three on. Only got one fish on gold and the rest came on silver and black once we switched over.

Wind beat us up,but after afew mishaps (leads in the prop twice and a big wave over the splash well that led to a slight flooding  ) we ended up with 7 and lost afew more. Not great, but far from a skunkin'. Tough pulling wire from a 21' when its breezy. Suppose to be nice this week, hope to be back out soon. Good luck everybody!!!:)

Is that the same sort of air mail that he used for sending me a Walleye???

Starting to give some serious thought to taking tomorrow off and doing some daytime fishing down by the Round House.
