Hey everyone, I have a quick question to ask. Is there anything I can do to my bow to help it draw a little smoother during the colder weather we're having? Case in point I was out Thursday in Allegan hunting for 5 hours and the bow was pretty cold and wet from all the snow. I practice drawing the bow back with all the gear I had on and the cams seem to make a noise never heard before.
I was just shooting the bow the day before and it was so quiet. Hopefully this question makes some sense.
Thanks

Could be becuase of the water getting on everything, dry it out use a good lube( I prefer pure silicone lube)lightly though, but most likely it was there anyway the reason you heard it now was that it was quite in the woods, you didnt have people around you talking and shooting their bows.

Might be time for a lube job. Take the cams off and clean and lube the cam shafts. Inspect the shaft hole for wear. Some times the shafts can wear into the limbs causing a little groove for the shaft to move in causing noise. Just an idea...

Thanks for the feedback, just had the bow lubed up this summer. Yesterday with the warmer temps she was quiet again. Once again thanks for the feedback.

When its cold I alwasy draw my bow back once I set up. SOmetimes it might take 2-3 times to get the little noises out. I think it works the lube back in. After it gets wet I always dry it out to infront of the heater. Then I draw it back a few times after its dry. It alwasy makes a few little noises after it dries.
I lubed mine this year too and it still does it. Not always but someitmes.
