9 Mile

Debated this morning if I wanted to drag the boat out for one last trip. The wave report was for 1 to 3 feet. Decide the heck with it and just walked the looonnnnnnnngggggg walk to the seawall at the end of 9 mile. Fished from 11 to 3:30. Looking at the water today, I bet there weren't even 1 footers out there, beautiful day.

It started to get that "green" look last night instead of the brown water we've had for the last week. (at least down in the southern part). Should fish pretty good this weekend for anyone willing to brave the elements

Actually most of them were females. Even the smaller ones. I was kind of surprised also.

You might have seen me trolling around that area for musky yesterday late afternoon to dusk. I was the only boat trolling around there, got no hits. will try again this weekend. tightlinesyal

i headed out there this morning, sunup till 9 am...not a bite

brutally cold out though, nothing like blowing the ice off the rod tip every 3rd cast

im guessing they come and go throughout the day over there...so its hit or miss

last year i caught a limit off that pier, but that was around december 1st
