Wind was howling all day today....after a call from fisheater I decided ...what the heck....I can go out at least for a couple passes to see how it is....lets just say it was rough!! 1st pass I managed a 3lb beauty on orange and gold #7 nothing the next pass but was tough to keep a good line with the wind....so said the heck with it and went in......I know fish eater is out there so hopefully he and his partner are killing them!!

Hey Kevin, at least you tried. One is better than none. Nothing like walleye & eggs in the morning. It was a little tricky getting Capt Perch's Sea Ray on the trailer today. We had a great year & it's not over yet! Looks like the winds are supposed to ease off this weekend(hint, hint). Manuvering on the high seas is surely more of a workout than that treadmill!

Maybe this is my Weekend. No wind you say...Eh.....Looks like a little jigging in the morning, and out for some Perch after that....

Wind was the same on Wed.....decided to give it a try....could troll out but had to motor back because you couldn't get a line to where you wanted to go....wind would push me towards the war memorial at trolling speeds.....so I would just motor back and troll out to the channel.....fished from 4:30-6 then was tired of the wind.....ended up with my limit:D biggest around a 3 1/2 lb beauty....all the rest around 17-18 in.

I wonder if Bottom B's would work w/ Harnesses???? Then you wouldnt have to worry so much about staying on a line. Have you ever tried Harnesses this time of year Kevin???

Houghton Laker I must of just missed you on Wednesday. Got out there about 6:15 and stayed to 8:00. Must of been an early bite because we picked up one in the first five minutes and then nothing rest of the evening. Wind picked up as the night went on and changed from west to southwest which made it worse out there. Hope to get out Sat. and Sun. if wind condtions stay as they are predicting right now. Hope to see some of you guys out there.

Hope to be out every night this weekend!! Taking Mike the elder out tonight!! Hopefully the wind will drop down even lower than it is now!! Water in that area has cleaned up some so the evening bite should be better!! I thought with that water being off that they may be bitting earlier and my hunch paid off.....A old timmer (buzz) and myself did good....another oldtimmer (phil) came out late and managed 3......Mike and myself are going to hit it early and get him all straight on the does and do'nts....and hopefuly fill up a cooler for him!! Hope to see you out there this weekend!! Blue and white Crestliner with 2-Hondas on the back!! Sat. will probably have Biglaker as my partner.....and also possibly sun.if he so chooses!!;)

Hope you & Big Mike put a hurtin to them walleyes. I'm sure he will learn plenty with your tutoring. I would love to accompany you Saturday nite. Can't make it Sunday as I am cooking perch for my sister & nephew-celebrating 2 birthdays. Maybe see you tomorrow at the club with Capt Perch.
