well i have been shooting this bowtech tribute for a couple weeks now and i absolutely love it except one thing....the riser with the metal and wood grip it gets so cold during morning and evening anyone have any ideas for wrapping it to insulate it some? i wear gloves but it still gets so cold i am afraid my hands going to get stuck to it:lol:
thanks everyone,

Your hand won't stick to it if you got gloves on. Might think about getting a one piece grip or covering the metal with moleskin tape.

it was a joke about hand sticking to it....i was actually wondering if anyone knew of a pre made cover to fit it...or if this effects anyone else with this bow and what they have done about it.....
thanks again,

Limbsavers makes an insulated strib that sticks to the front of the riser, it's a good thing. http://www.limbsaver.com/limbsaver/archery/insstrip.aspx

I know exactly where you are at, I had the same problem. The below set up worked excellent for me.....Go to Tractor Supply or any place that sells horse related products. There is a black wrap that is essentially an ace bandage for horses that as you wrap it, it sticks to itself. It conforms perfectly to any contour or surface. It doesn't have glue or anything like that. It builds up nice, fits your hand well, keeps the cold from the grip at bay and costs about $4.00.

Tennis racket grips work well. They come 3 in a package for about 3 bucks.

Hmm, if its an 06 it should have the 1 peice grip. IF it doesnt its likely an aftermarket grip. Did you buy it new or used. I have an extra grip for an 06 here. let me know if you are interested. Thanks

I used to have my hand freeze and my arm cramp from holding my bow until I started using a screw in bow holder. I use the two section folding one made by Gorillia and carry it with me when I use my climber. I don't notice the cold when shooting.
