I am going to give it a try tomorrow, if you were heading out where would you go if you launched out of crocker?

If it was me.... I'd head down towards 10 mile and look for that little strip of clear water...or up by the channels....Probably the North.... And I'd probably bring some walleye jigs for a Plan B;)

Standing on shore at 9 mile the water looked stained right up to shore. It did look dirty a mile or so out. All the marinas are dirty due to the water blowing out and in with all the west wind. It looked good (still stained) but fishable toward Masonic. Bruce, Let us know the water condition when you get back. Looks like one of the last nice days of the year.

It was stained everywhere except a patch in front of the 400 club in 12 feet where the pack of boats settled in for some tough late October perch fishing. But a great day none the less for me and a customer. I did not make it over to GPYC but it was probably the same. Give it a day or two and get out and get them. Ended up with 15 keepers but I had to work for them. Right on the bottom and they were hitting them lightly. I wish I could get back out but the wife had an appointment for the Chapperell at the service and storage place when I got back home. Thanks for all your help and good luck and good fishing.

Water was half way descent this morning at the Marina in GP at the delphine.....then the winds picked up and brought the dirty water in some....but water still looked to be fishable if the wind would just lay down!! There was 2 boats out there at 4:30 at the Delphine as I stood and debated wether to give it a shot or not....but as a nice wind gust hit me I decided to go home and hit the treadmill instead!:(

here is the latest View...Put down those perch poles Ed and make it over to the Delphine!! Looks like Wed. night might be descent enough with the winds to make it out!!

Conflicting wind reports. The marine forecast is calling for 10-15 knots for both Tues. and Weds. The weather channel is calling for 20-25mph for the same days.

Kevin, You & Curt won't catch any fish on the treadmill or the couch. Heck, you both should have done some wall-walking. The rougher the better.

I would do that but I always get my leads tangled up and it is also tough to walk while holding the handline reel!

Thanx Bruce, my buddy went out today and only ended up with 12 keepers. water was about 3 foot vis. in front of the point. .
Kevin, You don't' think I already saw the water in the honey hole;) . Wind or not if the water doesn't' bow it looks like the river or lake will be good for a little wire.
