Would anyone appreciate a cover for their site? I spent $80 on a fiberoptic bow site and I tried to repair it when it broke, but it's almost impossible. Anyway it busted again, and had to be replaced with another $80 model and I thought it should come with a cover. Thoughts...... would you buy a bow site with a cover, over one without? Or would you buy a bow site cover if they were readily available?

Raising and lowering the bow from my tree is enough for me to want a cover. What do you think?

Overdraw-

I broke an expensive new sight I had just put on my bow too. But it was from something stupid that I did. Anyway while at KD Outdoors yesterday (where I bought the sight) I asked Ken if they sold replacement parts and low and behold they do. He looked it up in one of his catalogues and found replacement fiberoptics and pins for my particular sight. I would suggest you take your sight to KD's on Highland Rd & Williams Lake Rd in Waterford and see if the can get the parts to fix it before trashing it. Once again KD's has come through with outstanding customer service.

Get some Fitz fiber...this stuff is super flexible and is not brittle like other kinds of fiber optic, plus it is INCREDIBLY BRIGHT!. You can actually wrap this stuff around your finger and it will not break! Oh, and one more thing there service is excellent!

I actually bought a spot hogg -Hog it and replaced the fibers w/ fitz fiber. Not that there was any thing wrong with the originals. but I Want to make it brighter w/ out having to resort to a light. So I set it up so the long fibers ran down the sight rail. Like a viper sight. I'll tell ya. This fiber is strong and super flexable. You can tie it in a knot and it wont break !!! Good stuff.
