anyone use tekken II's , how are they, i heard the montecs are nice too, any good broadheads or any reason why these broadheads are good. thanks
i've heard quite a bit of good things about tek II's, one friend had the blades fall out on a broadside double lung shot, no bone it. that was the only bad thing i've heard about them though. the blades opening from the front are a good design, the blades take less KE to open than rear opening blades do.

Tekans are great on small to medium sized game. They cut on contact, can punch through bone and fly true. I wouldn't use them on larger game (moose, caribou, elk, etc.) though. The G5 Montecs are awesome all the way around. Solid steel, cut on contact and nothing to go wrong. I've used the Montec's this year after using the Tekans last year and and I've killed a hog, an elk, a whitetail doe and a whitetail buck - all dropping within 100 yards!
