Well I am shooting well! BUT my best hunting buddy is having a hell of a time this year. He has had trouble. He is an excellent shot with a bow, we practice alot and shoot 3-d in the summer. He swithched to an arrow that is a little tougher shaft this year, shoots 90 grain muzzies, pulls 65lbs on a High Country Vibra Flex, String loop, True Fire release, whisker biscut. He is still getting good groups with his field tips, but with B-heads the arrows seems to do a little loop in the air, and land low and left, or where ever, not in the right spot! The bow was dropped earlier, but we think it's tuned. Any ideas?? I was thinking we should paper tune it??

If your confident in the shaft spine and length for the draw weight and tip weight then I'd guess the bows center shot to be off. Not uncommon for the FT's to appear to be shooting great and the BH's to be low left.
Here's a thread I started last year looking for similiar help. Followed Kelly's routing and all is well since.

Classic characteristics of a poorly balanced arrow. Check the FOC for that combo, and therein shall your answer lie.

You and your buddy should take a ride to Straight Line Archery in Ishpeming. They will fix you up.
If it was me I'd stop for breakfast at Buck's or at the Rainbow Bar for a beer depending on time.

FOC will have more to do with penetration than with arrow flight.
It's outta whack for sure if the heads are OK.
First....spin test the arrow and Bhead. Check for even seating on the shaft.
Broadhead groups that consistently deviate high and low can be fixed with either a rest elevation or minor nock adjustments. Conversely, groups that show a horizontal deviation can benefit from minor center shot adjustments. In both situations adjustments should be made minutely in 1/16" increments or less, in either direction until groups close and become more consistent.
Broadheads react to the direction in which they are launched much more that target tipped arrows. If broadheads group to the left of field points then the arrow rest should be moved to the right. If broadheads group above field points, the nocking point should be raised or rest should be lowered. This adjustment can be reversed for opposite conditions, but remember to make adjustments in very small amounts and to pay close attention to mistakes YOU make while shooting....only consider shots that are made with good form.
These adjustments will obviously change the point of impact of your field tips as well. You can make sight adjustments at any time during this process, but the overall goal is to get the field points and broadheads to group together. Once this is achieved a final sight adjustment can be made.

Sooo he ended up switching back to his older arrows, which are lighter. He was using Vapors (that is the model, can't recall the brand right now). but it made the difference his groups tightened up. He is using Maxima's now, he switched because they seemed brittle. but ohh well.

After this season, have him try some Gold Tips. IMO their the toughest out there and he should be able to match em' up pretty good.
