OK, here's my question...

I bought this bow a while ago when I figured I would grow a little more... and I didn't. haha. So I have a slight problem with the draw length being too long for me. I can still shoot somewhat well, but after working with my dad's bow (as he's not hunting this year due to a new job) I was able to be much more accurate with the shorter draw length.

What can be done to shorten the draw length of my bow? Can new/different cams be put on it? Are there other things that can be done?

My bow DOES have a slight adjustment to allow it to change the draw length but it is as short as it goes.

Bow specs...
PSE Nova Gamesport
Draw Length (From sticker on bow) - 29 Inches
Peak Weight (From sticker on bow) - 70 Lbs
Cable Tune (From sticker on bow) - 162
Min Grain Arrow (From sticker on bow) - 132

This bow has "round cams."

ANY help at all would be apreicated before I call up and bug someone at a pro shot. I'd just like to know my options!

Thanks guys!

This bow has "round cams."
... "wheels". ;)

FWIW, I'd look into different wheels if possible. I've had a "Nova Extreme" for a number of years now. I purchased it as a "first bow" and though I would like to replace it, there's other hobbies taking priority instead, plus - it kills deer just fine(!). Anyways, I don't recall exactly what the difference was between it and a standard Nova (50-60 lbs, 65% letoff), but I do have adjustment from somewhere in the range starting from 28", maxing out at a few inches longer (exact specs I forget). So, there should be at least some compatible Nova limbs/wheels/cams out there to replace your current ones with.

It can be changed quite easily by a PSE dealer.

When I purchased my Nova back in January it had a 31 inch draw. I brought it to my local dealer and for a nominal fee they changed the insert in the wheel and made it a 29 inch draw as I needed. I had made sure before I purchased the bow that this would be possible.

Unfortunately it's a change that needs a bow press, unlike the newer Nova SU that doesn't need one to change the draw length.

So, go here http://www.pse-archery.com/ and click on the "Find a Dealer" at the lower left hand side. Then, you can have it changed and be on your way!
