Hi everyone, I haven't been on this site in a couple of years. Spent year before last in florida and last year just didn't get to ice fish.

This year that is going to change. I got myself a vexlar 20 and am looking forward to fishing hard this winter.

Never used the Vexlar. I watched the DVD that comes with it.

Hopefully I can pick it up pretty quickly.

Any idea what the learning curve is in order to understand all the blips?

kwick65, welcome back. You'll pick it up in no time. It'll be just like watching TV after a couple of hours, but you only get better with experience. Do you ever fish Baw Beese in the winter? It sure is a great lake in the summer. Maybe we can hook up for a trip and find those big perch and bluegills this winter. Capnhook

Yeah I have fished Baw Beese with limited success. Have access to private lake near there this year. Been catching lots of perch last couple of weeks.
