When I was sighting in my hunting arrows with last years broadheads I noticed that two arrows were on target, but one kept flying high to left. Is it possible that it is the broadhead or the arrow causing this erratic flight? I shoot Easton xx78 2219's with Eastman Ti-2 heads. I am wondering because I haven't shot the actual heads I will hunt with because I don't want them to get dull, but should I shoot the arrows I will use for hunting with practice heads?

Put the broadhead on one of the other arrows and shoot it. If it flies straight, then it was the arrow. Also use a different head on the arrow, just to see...

Duh, can you say "brain fart?" I was so frustrated that I didn't even think of that. :o Thanx.

You might try heating up the insert in the end of the arrow and twisting it a 1/4 turn also. I had some sucess doing that if all else fails as well.
