get some good high quality duct tape or you can try putting a patch over it with superglue, or use something strong like spider wire and sew 2 patches over the whole, 1 on each side.

They make epoxy sticks, this will patch anything. you can order them online at cabelas. But why would you bother with such a small hole?

You could use something like this if the hole isn't somewhere that you will be walking on it. You can get them at any auto parts store.

You'll understand the reason why when you fish in slush.

I thought about getting a plastic welder for $30.00, but i've never used one before. I think ih772 has a point, 1) you don't want water in the bottom of your shanty to freeze everything overnight. 2) even with a small pencil size hole,if it freezes onto the lake then when you go to move to another location, you may run the risk of enlarging the hole. This plastic seems really thin where the hole is located. Its right on the outside front radius where comes down to the flat bottom, just above the runner. Has anyone that you know ever mounted a Trap Voyager on an Otter II sled ? Sounds nuts I know, It just might work, I believe that the Otter Co. makes a better sled . I really like the Trap covering and the seats though.

You can order a new tub if you really want too.

I have a couple holes in the bottom of mine that I need to address before hard water season. I was thinking of some sort of epoxy that was a little flexible in the cold but would be able to bond to the plastic tub.

Another fun thing in addition too water getting in through the holes is snow. You will have a bunch of nickel and quarter size snowballs filling up the bottom of your shanty if there is snow on the ice.

I fish in slush all the time and have since the 1960's. I live in michigan:)

The epoxy sticks will work great and bond permently to the plastic bottom.Have used them in other applications.

I usually clear the area before setting my shanty down and then pack the sides with some snow if possible, but I also do not have any holes in the bottom of my shanty, so I have had no experience with these problems.
