I need a new handheld GPS, just to get to and from the truck on grouse hunts. That simple, nothing fancy.
My 3 choices are going to be, Magellan eXplorist 100, Garmin eTrex GPS or Lowrance iFINDER GO handheld.

Which one?

I have the Garmin Etrex, I love it! No complaints....Very easy to use.

I also have the I Finder H2O. So far I like it and the Navionics card swaps between the Ifinder and my 337c

Sounds like your needs are the same as mine. After having two others I sold/traded and ended up with the foretrex201 they can be found between $100 - $150. Basic unit, rechargable batteries, and one feature I really like is you can wear it like a watch or strap it to your pack, so your hands are free to carry a gun/bow etc. I found one on ebay a year ago for $110. I also strap it to the handlebars on my dirtbike and snowmobile using the included extended strap.

It is a basic unit but gets the job done so far for me.

I ended up getting one of these. I bid on my and ended up getting for like 170. It is a little pricey, but much cheaper than retail. Also the pretty colors make me feel fancy. Add to it that the topo and depth software is readily available on the net for free it pays for itself.
