We are thinking about starting up a by the scoop buisness in Munising. Any one know where to buy semi truck loads of sugar beets and or carrots. Any roughly the cost of it delivered (assume per mile).

Contact Frank Calzaretta at Motown Harley in Taylor, MI. He used to or still is in that business. I think he used to buy them in the south and have them shipped to the UP.
He is a retired P.O. and now sell Harleys. He is a good guy and will talk your ear off, maybe even sell you a bike.
He can steer you in the right direction.

Always a smart as!!!! in the bunch. I said buisness, not put out in a field. I just traveled 60 miles one way for bait. I'm tired of traveling for beets. :mad:

When you live in the u.p. you get use to traveling however I think there is a market for bait locally here.

For those with positive input, I appreciate your help.
