I called cuddebackabout 15 times past few days and faxed them with no reply, so I'm gona throw this out there.
I have a cudde about 3 years old, which has started to act funny. When I go to activate units all is well with code entry, but I get a proloned "cam busy" message. By prolonged, I'm talking about 5 min. This is with empty flash card, and with out flash card.
Seems fine except for this minor problem.
Thanks

Yup I am having problems with my 2 month old No Flash, that has only seen about a month in the woods. Thing only took 10 pics (3 of me dumping corn) during that time. Has stopped saving pics to card or memory. Have tried two different cards, both of while have properly formatted.
I spent a little over an hour today trying to call Cuddeback but either got a busy signal or a recording that told me to call back later. You would think that at almost $500 a cam for the No Flash they could afford to put in a few more phone lines and a couple of minimum wage people to answer them!
If I dont get a response I'm driving to Wisconsin and throwing the camera through their window with a note! Once it is fixed it is going up on A.T. classifieds and I am buying something more reliable and with better customer service.

Guess I was Lucky when I called them a Mo. ago. Go to talk to them with only a 10min. wait. Mine is fixed and working now. Hope noting else happens to it. Wondering if Cuddyback's are breaking down a lot more then others. Sounds like that time of the year and they need some temp. help.
If you go to retrieve your pictures and set off the camera you will have to wait until the camera gets unloading the picture before you removed the (CF)card. If you try to removed your (CF) card while it's downloading the picture you might destroy you card. I come in from the side of camera and put my finger on the middle sensor for a few seconds and a red led light comes on, remove my finger in 1/2 second and the camera will let me removed my card without waiting. Don't know if that helps. Good luck.

You never can tell with a small manufacturer or retailer....
I had a problem with my first no-flash right after i got it and the tech on the phone (talked to with 5 minute wait) had me run through a series of tests and then had me re-format the card and finally change the batteries. I dont know which of these things made it work, but it hasn't skipped a beat since. I bought a second one now and put them side by side and tested them for speed, quality, flash distance penetration and they are exactly alike.
This is just my experience, so good luck with getting yours repaired and please keep us posted so we know whether or not that company is going down hill.
