Here is an image of a Frigid Forage Plot that I planted on Aug 13. I put a Plotsaver ribbon around it on Labor Day.

As you can see, the area beyond the ribbon is a lot higher and leafier than outside the ribbon. The other two plots that I planted with the same seed are only about two to three inches high and are thoroughly munched.

There is evidence that the deer, or at least some deer invade the plot past the ribbon. Could be fawns going under. But for the most part I am convinced that the plotsaver works. I am leaving this one up for a couple of more weeks.

BGB, looks good. What size of an area did you use the PS on? Once the PLot saver was put up, did you have to reapply or do anything else to the Plot saver?

thanks,

This plot is a little over a 1/4 acre. I have not reapplied the formula. It was probably ready for another application but we got the snow and ice this past weekend. The ribbons got covered with ice and the plot has been invaded. I mean full all out assult. It has been munched to about ankle deep in 5 days. So much for the firearm attractant plot.

I am also impressed with the frigid forage compared to other brassica blends that I have planted.
