well was up to take the boats off the hoist and hit a few of my normal spots no walleye but i did catch alot of small mouth . in very shallpw sandy water and if i remember rite the same thing happened last year in the fall . have a couple of cuts that hold walleye from time to time no fish in the drop offs wonder what the smallys are doing in shallow sandy areas i first caught a couple oon a jig and power minnow then starting throwing a red rattle trap and caught a dozen or so fat ones it was a fun way to end the summer not many people fishing up there now .
