Two weeks ago, our oldest son informed us that the Army was going to let him come for Christmas. His only request is to have enough ice so his boys can WALK ON WATER. That meant grandpa got to spend some money!!!!!!! My new 6" lazer got here yesturday ( now I can leave my nimrod at home.), ordered a new 5x6x6 shanty today. Couldn't quit swing a Vex since my better-half knows I have 6 assorted Lowrance flashers and 2 Eagle LCD's in the closet. And of coarce, 4 new rods and reel. Really didn't need the rods but she didn't know that. Now I've got more junk to carry on my new ski box. And No Darrin, this one won't fit in the back of you Mini-Van!!! And it's been approved to buy a heater so those poor boys from Ft. Bragg won't freeze their little toes off.
So Mother Nature, that little frost I found on my wifes car ain't going to get it. Kick it into high gear, do it for the grandkids, PLEASE!!!!!

He has already been to the desert twice with the 82ndAirbourne, he's a lifer.
Planning to hit the little lake in my backyard. You know the rules, I can't mention the name in this forum but we will be talking about it in the other forum by name!!! (This is where you send me a PM if you can't find it on the map) Plus there is a right good size lake over your way I remember as a kid, I grew up in Battle Creek. The 2 lakes within walking distance from my house have bass, pike, gills and speck and a heck of alot of fishing pressure.
