Best Opening Day Ever!

I was truly blessed yesterday on the first day of opening bow season. I was in my tree stand and if you could see beneath my camou mask, you would have seen the biggest grin ever. You see, i was hunting for the first time with my 19 year old daughter who just started hunting with me this year. Just watching her face when we caught sight of four doe was so incredible! Since being a part of this web site i have read how those "proud dad's" felt to take their kid hunting, well, its true and i hope all you hunting fathers out there get to experience that same feeling that i did. We didn't let any arrows fly on this day but it was still the best opening day ever! Good luck and have a safe season.

You got it, my youngest is 22, she doen't get much chance to come along because of her studies, but when she does, you're right on that it's what makes it the best day ever.:cool:

Left my bow home yesterday. The day was reserved for my 12 year old. Keeping my eye on the weather reports. Maybe i will get out tonight.
