Todays squirrel harvest

Hit the woods at 7:45 am today out near waterloo.The squirrels didnt get active till about 9:00. Saw one fox squirrel that I didnt get. After that there were grays everywere. It didnt take long to limit. The morning was perfect for hearing them droping the nuts.I saw more than I could count.

My nephew shot his first gray squirrel I cleaned the tail for him to keep He did not want to have it mounted . His grandmother let their dog out it ate the tail the boy wanted to shoot the dog and get the tail back .we don't have many gray 's around Hopefully he will get another

I went out Saturday for about an hour. I saw 8 or 9 grays. Shot at maybe six. I was in a sporting mood and I don't like to kill too many early in the season on my property so I took my buck mark rather than a long gun. Bagged one peaking at me around the tree trunk. It's tough this time of year with the leaves still on.

Great picture, seems to be plenty of them bushy tails around, we got four sun.
