Since i've joined this wonderful forum I've been getting alot of great advice on hunting from alot of great (More Experienced)hunters on every subject possible....
I've been told and advised by others in/out this forum to go deeper and further into the woods, where there is probably going to be less pressure and less hunters....but many of the big/decent bucks I have seen taken and heard stories about off state land, was killed either close to or not more than 400 yards from a main dirt/paved road or 2-track!...So do you beliee this could be a FACT that you don't have to necessarily be the deepest guy in the woods to better your chances at shotting the big one.

Well the less pressured a deer is the easier it is to kill. Hunting further back in the woods could help tag you a buck....does it gaurantee a big buck? No. Its all about what your willing to do to get that buck your looking for....If you want to sit 100 yrds from a two track or hike it two miles thats up to you...Its your hunt. If your willing to hike in two miles to hunt, I'd make sure that you where you hike to is not accessible easily from another location....

Here is my 2 cents. You need a spot that you believe in if you aren't fully committed to that spot you will not kill a deer. You will be think I need to move over there I need to clear that out. You will not be able to sit relaxed and wait for an opportunity to shoot a deer. You need to find your spot and hunt it believe in your abilities and you will be successful. Good luck.
