Depends on the moon phase. I have also caught Him on camera at 12 and 2 in the afternoon.

Swamp, can you tell how many points? Kinda hard to tell. If he's got brow tines, looks like he might be a good 8.

There is a good book called "HUNTING WHITETAILS BY THE MOON" by Charles Alsheimer Buy it.
You would be suprised at how the moon effects deer movement.
Basicly if you have a full moon at night we all know deer feed. Your next peak will be around mid-day. If there is no moon at night then your peak will be dawn and dusk. Of course there is a little more to it then that. And in heavily presured areas all bets are off. But it is a good book you really pick it up. But we do know that deer move when the moon is directly overhead and directly under foot. If that makes any sense. And deer will feed about every 4 to 6 hour depending on other variables.

Swamp, can you tell how many points? Kinda hard to tell. If he's got brow tines, looks like he might be a good 8. He's an 8 and hunting near this feeder is off limits. Here in GA we can feed year round you just can't hunt near feeders or baited areas. I think it's within 200 yards or within sight of baited areas.

No but I have access to this farm in southwest ga. That is why I check these cam every day at least a dozen times. I don't work so I have plenty of time. I am talking to them about a cam on my farm in TN the problem is I don't have cable or phone out there yet. Hope to get a cam online buy spring.:coolgleam
Why should I give them credit, they did'nt grow the deer.:D There cams are just taking the pics. If you have been watching my posts you would have seen I posted a link to them a few weeks ago. I live in roswell and their office is right down the road from me.
Maybe it's just me - but the 'tone' of your first posts lead me to believe that YOU took this picture - and, fact is you didn't.
"Took this pic last night at about 9:00"
Made me 'think' it was from YOUR cam -
When I said give the credit - I meant you should be giving the 'photo' credit for the pictures - it was their cams that took them -
I think others thought so as well - by reading their posts -

I see what you mean. But in a way I did take the pic. WELL sort of.
I had been watching this deer on the cam for few minutes. And waited for a good angle then clicked and saved it to my photos:D So in essence I took the pic from a pic. Don't be so nitpicky, I was not trying to fool anyone. :)
Wasn't meaning that you were 'up to anything' only that some others were misled and I was too - nothing sinister at all - sorry if I implied that -

Not a problem and next time I'll make sure to give credit where credit is due.:)
So everyone else knows the deer cam is not mine. But as I said I do hope to have one on my farm by spring. Just need to figure out how to explain the $2000 price tag to my wife. Maybe for security yeah thats it security.
Regardless of where that buck is at, I say you clicked your mouse at just the right time!

I watch that cam daily and know it would only take a 1/2 hour to score.
