I (http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.TextId?hvarTextId=11242&hvarTarget=search&cmCat=SearchResults) was thinking about switching up from the Primos call to the Hunter's Specialties® True Talker Deer Call (http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.TextId?hvarTextId=11242&hvarTarget=search&cmCat=SearchResults), it's pretty cheap and i like how you don't have to change or adjust the reed!....Has anyone had any success with this call!?

Bow Grunter plus
Can't remember who makes it, but the call I use is an adjustable tube/reed and has various calls on it, just move the rubber band. Everything from a fawn distress call to a mature/dominate buck grunt.

Never used one, but this year I am trying the bow grunt plus based on several recommendations..
Speaking of this call.. Does anyone know if they (A-way outdoors) sold the design of this to one of the more well known companies.. I saw a call in a store that was the EXACT same as the Bowgrunter + but it was in another companies package. Im thinking Hunter Specialties...The directions on the back were the same, and the small pic on the package of the call in someones mouth looked like it was the father from A-way.. Was kinda interesting..

As i stated above, We (Away outdoors) sold a licensed version to them.(H.S)
it has a few changes to it... they use a different reed and a few other changes to it! we (AWAY OUTDOORS) retain all rights to our call.

I also use the Bowhunter Grunt Plus. I like to keep it set to the doe . I get better results than grunting. I actually had a buck that passed behind my stand not 2o yd. from me but wouldnt give me a shot. When he was about 40 yr. out still moveing away I gave him one doe bleat and he came back and stepped out in the open for a look. That was his last look:D .I realy enjoy calling.
