choke tubes

i have a over/under 12ga,some off the wall brand i got at a decent price.came with 5 choke tubes unmarked except for some cuts or notch if you will where the threads are on the tubes.they are notched 1 thru 5,1 and 2 are thicker than the rest.any idea what one is what?:confused:

you could measure the ID's I would think the thicker ones are full

Depends on the brand. In many cases you get:

IIIIII or ****** = Cylinder Bore
IIIII / ***** = Skeet
IIII / **** = Improved Cyl.
III / *** = Modified
II /** = Improved Mod.
I /* = Full

Take 'em out and pattern 'em. A worthwhile exercise even if they are labeled.
