Me and BigGameHunter (Brian) hit Belleville today in my soon to be boat. I wanted to see what the boat was like in the water before purchasing it so we went out for a spin. We didn't do anything in the main lake so we went back into Edison Lake. On the second dock i casted to i hooked what looked like a decent fish but on the first jump he threw the hook. That fish hit on a 5" rootbeer wacky rigged senko. We continued on that shoreline with nothing to show so we went back up to the head of the lake and started the other shoreline. About half way down shore i caught a little 10" bass on a white spinner bait when i went to pull the bait out of the water. A little further down i caught a nice bass (16 1/4") on the very back poll of a dock on the same white spinnerbait. We tried that shoreline one more time and Brian hooked a little guy that threw the hook when it went to jump. All and all a very nice day except for a little bit of rain.

Thank you Brian for taking me out in the boat.

Hey sounds good to me. I should have a boat with in the next week or so. Where do you fish for the smallies? I think we would have fished the lake a little diffrently but the wind was whipping today. We were only out for about 2 and a half hours. I love to fish and would love to fish with someone who loves to fish!
