Youth Hunt

I just wanted to take this time to wish all youth hunters and their mentors to have a safe and successful hunt this weekend. The young hunters are the future of our beloved traditions so be patient and keep it fun for them and hopefully they will be enjoying some fresh venison before school on monday.

Also to all those adults sacrificing time for their children or others children, my hats off to you for being a great ambassador for our sport good luck!;)

I'll be out with my 12 yr old who didn't turn 12 till Nov last year so could not participate in the YH. Not only can he this year, but he'll be using an Encore so he's real excited. We've been shooting the gun for a month to make sure he's comfortable with it (he is). He's been trash talking me now saying he's going to "gut Mom a deer" (Escanaba in da Moonlight) and make mine look like Bambi blah blah blah. He's even got a list of where we're going to haul the deer filled trailer after the hunt to show off.

Not so fast Grasshopper .....

Almost forgot - GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF OUR YOUTH HUNTERS!
