String wear

Has anyone noticed unusual wear on their strings by the lower cam? Wear that actually causes the serving to separate revealing the string below it?

I bought a Hoyt Trycon this year and am noticing it. My old bow was a Fred Bear Code from 1999 (I think) and it had the same problem. Is there anything that I can do to stop this or prevent this? If not is it something I should be concerned with?

Your going tosee it to som extent on all single and hybrids. Your trykno should have a floating yoke. if it seems excessive you might want to see if there is a burr or anythign on the cam. if your worried about it, you could serve a over teh wear area to protect it a litle more.

I have seen this on a friend's set up. Basically he adjusted his let-off to high. This caused the cam to roll to far over....when this happens it puts undue stress on the serving where it rolls off the cam.
