I have CX Edge Hunter 350s, and as Im sure most you know after shooting the fletching tears. I want to get my fletching redone but I don't know what to go with. Someone told me to go with feathers, someone else told me Blazers, someone else told me quickspins..
What is your opinion,
and also if my draw lengh is at 28 what size vanes do I get for my arrow? Also I am shooting mechanicals if that matters.

The blazers are a good choice and hold up well in a whisker biscuit rest. They will stabilize a broadhead just as well as any 4" fletch. IF you hunt in inclement weather I would shy away from feathers. If you are set on 4" fletch the vanetecs are a good choice. Not many places carry them, if not the duravanes or flexfletch will work.

I love the Vane Tecs. They are great through my WB. I have shot umpteen times and there is no wear at all.

The Blazers are a good choice ,but will fly differently than 4" vanes .

Blazers are typically 2"- Thats what most use...

I went through the same decision as you are currently. They way I looked at it was "if it ain't broke - don't fix it". So I went and got some duravanes and fletched them at the same offset as what came on the arrow. Hopefully they shoot just as well as the originals did. I was hitting targets dead on and I honestly didn't feel like my shooting needed any improvement. I too shoot mechanicals and they shoot like my field points and I didn't think blazers would make a difference.

I just switched from duravanes to 2" blazers, I'm very happy i made the switch. The blazers are super durable and fly great.

same as above -- w/ the blazers i was about 3" higher (at 40 yards) they grouped as good or better than duravanes.
i would imagine that i was higher because of less drag w/ a shorter flech??
any one else experience this?????

I switched from duravanes to blazers.
Much more durable.
