are red dot scopes legal for deer hunting?

In Michigan yes. You can't use a sight that emits a laser onto game though.
Not sure of the exact wording but that's the laymen terms.

As far as I know they still are.
I used to use one and it was great for target shooting, but when I was in the treestand I got too much glare and reflection at full draw for me.
I've heard a lot of good comments about the Pollington red dot though.

They are legal. They are awesome too. I just recently purchased a Mueller Quick Shot. I love it. Here is the link.

I just bought a Nikon vsd w/hha optmizer lite plus to put on my switchback xt. only shot about 100 arrows so far....love it
