just sold my youth bow, im looking for a fairly cheap, but good bow, anything i should look into? thanks
i have a fred bear trx 32 and i love it. it is really accurate, a little hand shock, but it is VERY QUIET right out of the box. and it won't break the bank either. i picked mine up 2-3 years ago for $235 or $255 at gander mountain in grand ledge. When i bought the bow i knew the bow tech that worked there did very good work, Mitch, so i had him set my bow up. but if you do buy a bow from gander again, i problably wouldn't let them set it up unless i knew that he did good work and knew what he was doing, some chain stores have people working in the archery department that don't know what they're doing. i'd go and shoot a few bows as soon as i could and buy the one that feels best thats in your price range, also what is your price range? that'll help alot. since you'll only have 2-3 weeks at most to practice and get to know your new bow SHOOT IT AS MUCH AS YOU CAN before you go out hunting with it. Don't be persauded by a salesman to buy a bow. remember, your the one thats going to be shooting/hunting with it, not them. You'll get alot of great advice from the guys on here. Good luck on your choice and this season.
