View Full Version : Are my arrows helical?`

I've been shooting Easton 2315 XX75s for 2 years now and I got a bitzenburger to refletch them. I thought for certain that the vanes were perfectly straight on these arrows, but under closer inspection, I can see that ever so slightly - the fletching goes from left to right. The fletching looks straight, but it's almost a little diaginal. Is this helical or straight fletching? I want to make sure I have the right clamp because I really like the way these shoot.
Thanks,
PF

Sounds like there offset, and yes you can do that with the straight clamp.

Straight Fletch4º Right Offset FletchRight Helical Fletchhttp://www.huntersfriend.com/fletch-straight.jpg
Does Not Rotate in Flight

Rotates Slightly in Flight

Rotates Dramatically in Flight
- Fastest Flying Vane Configuration
- Least Amount of Air Resistance
- Works with Any Arrow Rest
- Minimal Fletching Clearance Problems- Provides More Stabilization for Broadheads
- Only Some Air Resistance in Flight
- Works with Most Arrow Rests
- Stable Flight to Moderate Distances- Superior Stabilization for Broadheads
- Best Overall Arrow Flight at Long Distance
- Increased Overall Accuracy
- Arrow Corrects Attitude in Flight- Less Stable at Long Distances
- Provides Less Stabilization for Broadheads
- Best Used in a Well-Tuned Bow- May Cause Fletching Clearance Issues
- Some Loss of Arrow Velocity
(Most Popular Choice)- Notable Loss of Arrow Velocity
- Fletching Clearance More Problematic
