I have a real dumb question. I've always shot my bow with the odd colored fletching pointing to the left of me before I got a drop away rest. Now I shoot it where the odd colored fletching is on top, and the two other fletchings are on the bottom. Is this the correct way to shoot?

I just asked the same question at KD Outdoor yesterday when getting my bow tuned. It was one of those, "DUH"-moments when I thought about it.
It's a DROP AWAY rest..........the fletchings aren't in contact with anything as the arrow leaves the string. Therefore, it doesn't matter which way the odd feather is pointing.

It really shouldn't matter as long as the fletching is clearing the rest on release. The cock feather up puts the hen feathers both on the bottom (assuming a 3 fletch arrow) This might cause some problems with clearance on certain types of cradle arms. (Trophy Taker etc...) where there is more clearance in the middle of the rest vs the edges. Experiment with different fletching positions to find one that does not cause contact. Just because it is a drop away does not mean you can not have clearance issues.
BTW- If you are shooting the 2" blazers this might be a little more challanging as they have a higher profile...
Good Luck.

seems like a mixed bag of answers here but I have noticed that cock feather up is best for my setup.
