Rocket Hammerheads or Rocket Ultimate Steel

I've used mechanicals for a long time, but am looking for something with a little more penetration power. Has anyone used the ultimate steels. How do they group with field points.

Blade retention is an issue with these.

I love Rockets...shot the Wolverine, mini blaster, steelead, hammerhead...their mech's are great but the Ultimate steel needs some work.

Well...Have you thought about the Rocket Sidewinder? It has the pathfinder tip and a 1.5" cutting diameter which puts it two strikes better than the Hammerhead for penetration...and has a much larger cutting diameter with more swept back blades than the ultimate steel. Plus the mech will fly right with your field tips.

Or you can try the Grim Reaper broadheads as well.

But if you're going rocket, I'd go with their sidewinder or their flagship steelhead.

I second that. Th steelhead is a fanatastic head with exceptional penetration. Tests showed it penetrated better than fixed heads.
