IZ-a start Perch

I had eye problems (couldn't see going to work today) Called in, honey do's done and hit the lake around 2 pm to 5 pm . long drive to the Canadian shore 17 fow. Calm as glass/Christel clear water. Life is Good. I picked up 3 DZ minnows 1/2 died due to heat and my fishing partner picked up 4 DZ all his died. (:lol: he cooled them down with 2 bags of ice:tdo12:)

Lucky for us the dead one worked just fine. Nothing on fire. Slip bob's worked great and when the fish school came in perch rigs did the trick.

I don't know about you Ed....But it seems nothing cures me quicker than that fresh lake air on the eyes.....some cold ale in the throat....and perch slime on the hands!!:lol: :lol:

I feel sorry for all your co-workers that don’t fish. Poor guys probably never get any time off while trying to cover for you and your partner. :p Nothing better than having a boss that is as passionate about fishing as you are!! BTW, nice cooler of fish!! :)

Nice job Ed! It seems like everytime I have an "eye" problem and can't make it to work, my honey-do list gets twice as BIG. Glad you made it out ED and thanks for the report!

Thanks Ed for the tip on how to get the day off. Nice report too, with pictures to boot. My boat is a little small to make that trip. I'll have to wait until they get a little closer to the east shore (USA).:fish:
