I have a dozen GHG Oversized Goose Floaters. I am having a problem with keeping their heads on. They are designed to 1/4-1/2 turn on but the threads do not seam to fit properly. I think they are 2003 models. anyone else have this problem? And what did you due to fix this?

The treads on the head seat do not make a perfect fit but I can usually get mine to stay pretty well. What I do is turn the head so it is looking 90 degrees (to the right or left) and push the head on pretty hard. Then give the head about two full clockwise rotations and that will usually seat the head flush on the body. They sometimes do come off a little if you throw them and the head hits the water but I have never had one fall off completely.
Hope that helps!

All of the heads on GHG are pretty tough to get on....you have to push REALLY hard while turning them to get them to screw onto the threads....atleast thats what I had to do with my GHG Full bodies. (it helps if you have another person holding the decoy and pushing it towards you while you are turning the head at the same time)
