Went out to north channel of SCR on Monday morning. Was targeting walleye by chugging, but caught two big smallies first. They sure are fun to bring in bare handed. Caught 4 walleye, two of nice size. But the exciting part of this trip was to watch a sturgeon jump like a dolphin! It was around 10:30 A.M. and nice and sunny out. This active sturge jumped about 4 times over 15 minutes. It was my first time seeing one in person and scared the heck out of me the first jump.
