saturday morning report

[Slick fishing]

Hello all Flying wasp and myself went out from like 7am till 10am and we only boated 3 fish today.. Run the same program I always do and the fishing is pretty slow here in Saint Clair.. I talked to a couple other fisherman out there and one had none and another had three and that was about it.. We caught two fish on Swamprats twister rig and one on Gulp..

I am going perch fishing the next time out, looking forward to it, flying wasp it was nice meeting and I am sure I will see you out there, there where lots of bass boats out there and it looked as they may be fishing some kind of small mouth turnament.. Good luck to you all this weekend Cya Slick

If perch fishings your next trip, then here's todays report.

Fished by the B buoy, about 10-11 ft of water. Probably caught 100 fish between the 2 of us but only kept 25 good ones. Had to set the anchor twice it was blowing so hard! It was fast action from 7-8:30 until the bass rolled in and man did we get some good ones. Caught 9 smallies total, biggest weighed in at 5lbs. 6 oz. 21 1/2 in. long! What a hog!

It was tough sleddin' with wave spray over the back and the rain showers but it was fun while they were bitin'.
Used 2 hook perch rigs with minnows.

nice job nascar31fan. was also out this morning but didn't do as well as you guys . fished in front of fords cove and 9mile tower 12to14ft of water ,only managed 12 perch and a couple nice bass.east wind again making for a rough ride :sad: we'll see what the weather is like for the rest of the weekend and be back at it in the morning :)
