What are your preference for fletchings, feathers or plastic (urethane) vanes?
I've heard both have there advantages and disadvantages but is there a preferred for hunting vs target?

Blazers...so plastic.

If I were shooting fingers or traditional...feathers. If you're shooting compound with a release there's no reason not to use blazers.

Right now feathers, and in the rain quickspins but I keep hearing Blazers, Blazers, Blazers so I'm going to give em a try.

I've heard both have there advantages and disadvantages but is there a preferred for hunting vs target?for huntin & target blazers here,so plastic it would be,though when I'm playin around with the recurve I use feathers cause there's alot more give,i'm shootin off the shelf,no rest.So their both the best for what there meant to be used for.feathers are louder and slower, but lighter and more fragile, plastic is quieter and alot more durable but about three times heavier than feathers
