How far should my arrow actually drop at 40 i shot two inches above a cow elk with the 20 yrd pin this seems excessive compared to everyone else also i noticed no change in the flatness of the shot from alluminuim to carbon any help thanks

Once you get past 35 yards you'll see a huge drop.
Example...: .300wsm...100 yard zero, 2" drop at 200 yards....10" drop at 300 yards. This is just gravity having it's effect on projectiles.

Exactly. Just look at any ballistics for bullets and the drop is exponential once it reaches a certain distance. It's the same with arrows, just at a much closer distance.

thanks i was currious i called alpine tody just cause i thought something was up the said within 6 inches at 40 of drop is common the tech at my local shop said the same thing he looked at the bow and lenghthend my draw and moved my knock and had to take twists out of my buss cable im gonna shoot it tommorow to se if it made a difference!
