When you fish the north part of Anchor Bay for bass using top water lures, what depth should the water be?

I've pulled a lot of nice bass out of water that's only 2-3 feet deep. Heck, some even shallower than that.

As JP said, sometimes 2' is enough, depending upon the type of weed growth present. Usually for LM up there I look for weedss growing to the surface in 3-5'.
Smallies, especailly as fall movas in can be tempted to come up in 8, 10 or even more, and in tthe fall when they come up like that, there is no doubt if you got hit.LOL
