Negative...very easy to tune. They look complicated...but to be honest they are the easiest bow to tune that I have ever owned. Except for the amount of shooting that I do they are not practical...to many snapped cables which meant a lot of tuning.
I'm hoping this bow that I should have in a few weeks will remedy that yet still give me the sweet accuracy that I got with the Oneida:

Hey Kelly,
I don't know the name of the stablizer but I no it's filled with mercury, and yes she flings an arrow pretty quick - never chrono'ed though.
I have the extreme in 70# and she flings em at a little over 290.

Man my bow looks like the Hugo of bows compared to the fancy things you guys are shooting. If I was a deer I would drop dead just seeing one of those bows, wouldn't even have to shoot me. I would look up, say oh no there is Kelly and his Rytera Bullet X, aahhhhhhh! Thud, drop dead right there. ;)

The 1/4" peep frames the ME sight perfectly for me (very important). Not sure why they made them that bright BLUE though!

You should stick an STS on that. I backed mine off this weekend to remind myself of how much of a difference it actually makes, it's a major difference!
Those string supressors don't stop all of the string twang like an STS does.

Relax your fingers and rotate your arm out so that grip runs up and down your lifeline. Don't hold your fingers out either, because that's just as bad as gripping the grip...with both your using muscles in your hand to either clasp down or hold the fingers out...this creates tension points with your palm. You want your hand to be limp...so just relax the fingers.

Doc,
Thats one of the reasons why i really like this site, being able to get help when you dont even know you need it. Ive been criticized on my grip a while ago and i already changed it, thats actually an old picture. I was also told to utilize the bone in my lower palm, and to anchor my bow there almost like my kisser button. thanks bro

Yes! A rear mount - would he need to know the measurement?
phensway
09-06-2006, 02:38 PM
i think it is interchangeable, you can just cut it to fit....... but why do you want a rear mount?? i found that with those extra two inches added on to my stabilizer, it made my bow a lot more balanced...... i could probably have it done around squirrell season...... and i have a hunting buddy who goes to western.......

Phensway ..... I think I'm going to go with what I've got - been shooting very well and you know, it's just too damn close to the season now to be messin with my bow. Plus, I've got two other bows (one for wife, one for 13 yr old) that I'm working on now to get ready for season.:dizzy: But I do appreciate your input and may pursue this again in January.
OK, NOW BACK ON TOPIC - LET'S SEE YOUR TOYS!!!!
