Friend got a brand spankin new reflex super slam...he sezs it came with no book. He wants me ta tune it.

Where should a guy start tuning on these new bows?

Tiller and wheel timing 1st? (twist up cables?)

Then walk back tuning(adjust rest to keep arrows in center?)

Ill quit typin now and wait for an answer, hope this ? makes sense.

It's a hybrid...I'll see what I can dig up over on AT. There's a member over there named JAVI that is 'THEE' guru in tuning hybrid cams. I'm not too familiar with hybrids to put their tuning into words. I can do it hands on but I'm not too up to date with the verbage. BRB.

Before your friend does any serious tuning they should shoot it from 100-300 shots to allow the cables and string to "stretch" not sure if that is the correct term. If you do not he will start chasing settings as they move. I second Doc's recommendation regarding JAVI. Last, from what has been written on AT the Hoyt harness system is of questionable quality so he may want to pony up and install a better quality system from the start. You hate to do that with a brand new bow but it may be less of a headache in the long run....

Call me uninformed but I aint sure what the harness system is. I is familiar with twistin cables and strings on two cam bows but I aint sure bout the newer ones.

You are correct. I am speaking of the buss cables and string. Sorry for the confusion.
