Grand Haven Piers

I'll be in Grand Haven for the day on Thursday and would like to take my rig to cast a few spoons off the pier. Any word on whether their getting any Kings or Coho off the pier there yet? Spoons working?

I can say that Friday they were getting some fish off the boats in as little as 40 feet of water... so just out from the pier. This was in Holland, but I'm sure Grand Haven fishes very similar. There were plenty of people on the piers in Holland that night casting... I wouldn't think they'd be out there if there wasn't at least a chance of getting one.

Guy at work is a GH regular. Still a little warm yesterday, but he got a steelie and a perch on shrimp under bobbers.

With the east winds all week it's just a matter of time before they show up.
