If you are looking to plan a trip holland is great!! camp grounds will be empty after the holiday and you are within an hour of 5 or 6 fishable areas.

Dave,

I have been out of town on business all of August. I will be traveling in September, though I do not know when or for how long. If I will be in Michigan for either of those weekends, I will be contacting you. I am a newbie to pier fishing, but I want to get into it.

Best of luck on the water.

Dave I would love to fish with you (I live in Holland), I have a boat also so if your interested we could go on that as well (old 16' trihaul). Maybe one of those days during the week you have off I could take a vacation day from work and fish somewhere.

Shouldn't this east wind blow the warm water out and cool it off at the piers which should mean better fishing?????

I'll be giving you a call for a monday or tuesday trip the first weekend you mentioned. Have yet to fish for salmon on that side, and have been wanting to fish holland in spring for browns, here it can be great. Maybe you can share some of your expertise in that area while on the pier:D I love fall salmon, and if you don't mind traveling, I'll be at the soo last sat. in sept. for about 4days. Come on U.P. for some yooper kings, casino, and maybe the Canadian ballet!;)
